Picture of Roger Buschmann - Chief Human Resources OfficerWelcome to the LAUSD Human Resources home page. In HR, we are constantly seeking to bring new initiatives that provide better customer service and resources to our teachers and principals. Our goal is to make your experience with HR more efficient and friendly so that you can focus on enriching the academic careers of our students.

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), requires that all public school districts hire "Highly Qualified" teachers for their schools. The employment process for teachers has become extremely selective and competitive. The LAUSD is committed to hire teachers who meet the NCLB definition of a highly qualified teacher.

May your experience with HR be helpful and efficient!
