I want to welcome you to a new and exciting year at University High School. We are on the rise!

• We opened a Digital Media Magnet school in the Fall of 2010.
• UCLA and Uni have a committed partnership that will bring additional resources and programs to the school.
• Our extensive Advanced Placement Program offers students excellent opportunities to improve their chances at gaining entrance into the finest colleges and universities throughout the country.
• A 21st Century grant offers our students both academic support and extra-curricular activities after school.
• The school is entering a joint use partnership with the Westside YMCA.

Most importantly, our teachers and students are committed to making Uni the premier high school on the west coast. We acknowledge the loftiness of this goal and expect to reach it because of the intellectual resource of our students, the dedication and professionalism of our teaching staff, and the genuine involvement of our parent and community partners.
