Welcome to University High School

University High School is located on a historic 24-acre site in West Los Angeles. Our campus is built atop a freshwater spring that was used for centuries by the Gabrieleno Tongva people, and a portion of our campus is a dedicated California State Historical Site.

"Uni" has a rich tradition of excellence, and our strength lies in our school's diverse student population. Uni students were born all over the world, and speak over 40 different languages. As a result, we have one of the most tolerant and diverse campuses in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Uni is on the way up, with an API of 718, a 76-point improvement over the last 5 years! Uni offers a wide range of personalized learning programs in our four small schools, and in our brand-new Digital Media Magnet. Uni also offers a School for Advanced Studies, 20 different Advanced Placement Courses, a thriving AVID program, and our students matriculate to some of the top colleges and universities in the United States, including UCLA, USC, Loyola Marymount University, Princeton, Harvard, and Cornell.
